David A. Senter, Esq
David Senter was raised in Lillington, North Carolina where he was a member of Cub Pack 61 and Troop 61 of the Occoneechee Council. He earned his Eagle Scout Award in 1976, was a member of the Order of the Arrow and was part of the Occoneechee Council contingent that travelled to Philmont Scout Ranch in Cimarron, New Mexico in 1977.
David graduated from Lillington High School in 1977. In 1981 he graduated cum laude from Wake Forest University with a B.S. in Math/Business and in 1984 graduated cum laude from Wake Forest Law School where he was a member of the Law Review and the Moot Court Board. David is presently an adjunct professor of Construction Law at the Wake Forest Law School.
David began his legal career in 1984 as an associate with Adams, Kleemeier, Hagan, Hannah and Fouts in Greensboro, where he still practices today as a part of the Nexsen Pruet firm, which merged with Adams Kleemeier in 2004. David's primary area of practice is Construction Law. He has served as the leader of the firm's Construction Practice Group and the Managing Member of the Greensboro office. David has also been active in the ABA Forum on Construction, having served as a member of its Governing Committee and a Division Chair.
When David's two sons reached Scouting age, David once again became involved in Scouting, serving as a Den Leader and Cubmaster of Pack 275 in Greensboro. David followed his sons into Troop 275, serving as a member of the Troop Committee and as the Troop's Eagle and Legal Advisor. Both of David's sons, David Jr. and Stephen, earned their Eagle Scout Awards while in Troop 275.
David and his wife, Deborah, are proud of their family - Sarah, Stephen and David Jr., David Jr.’s wife, Lindsey, and their grandchild, Claudia. David and his family are members of Parkway Baptist Church in Greensboro where David has served as Deacon Chair and Personnel Chair and in other leadership roles.
