Carl G. Ivarsson, Jr., Esq.
Carl Ivarsson practices primarily traffic and criminal law in both state and federal courts and is State Bar certified in state and federal criminal law. He represents defendants charged with capital murder and has tried many death penalty cases. Carl also handles some workers compensation and personal injury matters.
  
Carl grew up in Greensboro, N.C., was a youth Scout in the General Greene Council, and earned his Eagle Scout rank in 1978. Carl attended Campbell University as a scholarship athlete (cross country and track), from which he graduated in 1982. In 1985, Carl graduated from the Campbell Law School. Since 1990, Carl has been a Scouting leader with the Occoneechee Council in Fayetteville, N.C. During his tenure as an adult Scouter, Carl’s positions have included Den Leader, Scoutmaster and Assistant Scoutmaster. Carl went to Philmont as an adult leader in 1991 and has also been the director of his district’s Pinewood Derby and a Camporee director. Carl earned his Woodbadge Beads in 2002 and, in 2005, was a member of the National Jamboree Staff.
In addition to his involvement with the Boy Scouts, Carl also coaches high school cross country. His son, Carl III, earned his Eagle Scout rank in 2007 with Troop 6 in Fayetteville, N.C. and is currently a student at N.C. State University. Carl’s wife, Sandy, teaches computer information classes at Fayetteville Technical Community College.
